About Me

My family picHi! My name is Clara Johnson. As the founding author of “MyMilkyBaby.com”, I began writing this blog in 2013 when I became a stay-at-home mom for my two children.

My goal and intention for the blog were to share my experiences of pregnancy and early motherhood with other interested parents.

In 2013, while my husband and I were living in Orlando, Florida with a preschooler and a baby, I decided to temporarily retire from my professional job to become a stay-at-home mom.

I had been working for a Fortune 500 Company as a sales and account management professional since graduating from college but began to feel strongly that I must be at home raising my children.

The purpose of my blog is to write on topics such as pregnancy, motherhood, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, grade-school kids, tween-teens, daily family life, raising my children and sharing my experience with others.

The comments and feedback that I have received back on the website over the years, let me know that my efforts are not in vain.

Hundreds of other parents regularly share their stories, both the good and the bad, seeking their own answers, perhaps learning and empathizing with others.

I know my writing reaches people, touches people, and that’s important to me.

The blog has grown in popularity over the years and I find satisfaction in that small success, but my real reward comes back from my readers and followers.

I have made a lot of friends online over the years, and have had many wonderful experiences meeting people I otherwise would have never met.

So, like the blog, parenting success is a journey and not a destination. There is a lot to look forward to. Both my children and my blog are still very young and growing.
